One of the cool components of WISE is that not only do you get to learn about your chosen topic, but you also get to follow what other students are learning. Today I visited two student's blog sites, and although their goals are very different than mine they share similar interests: art and helping others.
It was interesting to view, and reflect upon what they are doing. There are so many options. Now that I know there are peers who share similar interests I may be able to use them as resources. They can help give me constructive criticism with where I am in my own project, and I may even develop ideas from what they may offer.
It was eye opening, and I am excited to see what else people are doing.
